Many LED manufacturers are moving back toward heavy red/blue spectrums to push efficacy numbers higher. But higher efficacy doesn't automatically mean better plant results.
Nova Sun takes a different approach — using a broader spectrum that includes the wavelengths plants naturally receive from sunlight.

Nova Sun uses dual red peaks at 640nm + 660nm.
A 2024 study published in Frontiers in Plant Science found that white light with dual red peaks at 640nm and 660nm increased inflorescence yield and light-use efficiency compared with white light using a single 660nm peak. At higher PPFD, the dual-red treatment also increased terpenoid concentrations.
